If you’re a fan of HTC’s latest smartphone and also happen to love Hello Kitty, we have a device for you. No seriously. The folks from HTC have just announced the Butterfly S ‘Hello Kitty’ edition of their 5-inch smartphone

The popular online retailer ePrice managed to snag a few photos of the advert material, as well as a full image of the actual smartphone. Covered with Hello Kitty wallpapers and even the kitty on the back. It’s pretty funny if you ask us, but surely there’s a few million girls somewhere willing to buy one.
For those who don’t remember, the HTC Butterfly S is the follow-up to the original Butterfly, known as the DROID DNA in the states. Mixing the same 5-inch 1080p display with features from the HTC One. They added the UltraPixel camera, a bigger battery, and all those HTC Sense 5 features as well.
The Hello Kitty version will be the same HTC Butterfly S we already know and love. Complete with Blinkfeed, HTC Zoe, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the new Sense UI and all. It’s a limited edition device, and probably won’t last long. Talk about having your priorities straight, HTC, what’s going on here. Acronym time. HTC Butterfly S, successor of HTC Butterfly seems to be quite different from its predecessor. The new device by HTC poses 5 Inch,1920 x 1080 px resolution, S-LCD 3 and 16M Colors display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It has a capacitive multi touch screen.
The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS powered by Quad core 1.9 GHz Snapdragon processor, supported by Qualcomm chipset and 2GB RAM.

Design and Specifications 

The HTC Butterfly S is a newer version of the HTC Butterfly. The device looks the same as Butterfly but comes with a few differences under the hood. The phone has a 5-inch HD Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1920X1080 with a pixel density of 441ppi. The phone runs on the latest Android v4.2 (jelly Bean). HTC's Sense User Interface is integrated in addition to Android to make the phone simple and easy to use. A 2 GB of RAM along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 form the internal hardware of the device.

Camera and Multimedia 
 The HTC Butterfly packs a 4 MP UltraPixel camera with LED flash. The camera can take pictures at a resolution of 2688 X 1520 pixels.
